Life after pictographs Imagine that you’re tuning in to an ancient time. We can discern some fascinating knowledge about holistic health and the healing process by looking carefully at a system so obvious we might be tempted to discount it altogether – except for using it so regularly – language. Our ancestors devised the languages that form the basis of our modern communication system as a way to explain and share their experiences of life. I imagine that their process went something like this: OBSERVE – DESCRIBE – REPEAT Let’s see what they have to say:
