Happy Birthday, Max!

MaxFeb14_09Crop2.jpg

Hi. This is Max!

My person said it's my second adoption anniversary today; kinda like my birthday. She took this picture of me (she thinks I'm cute) so you can see what I look like this year.

Since it's my birthday, she said I can use the typing machine for a little bit and say a few things. Well, hi!

You know, if I think back to how it was before I came to live in this house, I can just barely remember that it was really, really cold outside and I was very scared and lonely and hungry. Just ask my person! I was pretty skinny & kinda stressed-like when she brought me home.

(But she says I was friendly anyway and she knew I was a good dog. I really feel good inside when she says stuff like that. Am I blushing?)

So anyway, I'm really glad to have this nice warm place to live. And I really like all the nice friendly people that come visit us. Ahem... Uhhh...

So I hope it won't seem ungrateful if I politely wonder why it has to be so cold today so we can't go on a really, really long walk because I would really, really like that and it is my special day and all. And I really would appreciate more of the very special snacks she gave me earlier. You know how it is...

Anyway, my person said to tell you that if anyone wants to wish me a happy birthday, you can say hi in the comment section below here and she will tell me everything you say.

Or if you're a dog, you can go over to my very own web page and write some stuff there. It's a place for us dogs to ... you know ... share ideas on making our people healthier and stuff. (If your person is anything like mine, hoo-boy do they need our help!)

Anyway, here's the address: http://www.squidoo.com/dog2dog

So to all my dog friends, I would love to hear your ideas of how you help keep your people healthy. That would make me a very happy dog!

And to all my people friends, well, I just think you're the coolest. If you were here in person, I'd wag my tail and give you a big kiss for Valentine's Day. Thanks for stopping by. Woof!

Happy Happy Day, Max!!!!

My, that two years has passed by soooo fast. I know you have had lots of fun with your person, your new doggie friends and all the people who come to the office.

And not that many dogs get to supervise garden work like you do!! I'm totally impressed with all your talents and abilities. Not even to mention your writing those wonderful hints for dogs to help their own people!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Here's hoping the coming year is just more and more fun for you!!!

Best wishes for many more special happy days to come!

Judith G.

Aww. Max is right here and he is just delighted with your birthday wishes. He's getting ready for the snow to melt so he can get all muddy ... and keep an eye on the garden!
